Sleet and Sunblock

Today was such a lovely day. Early this morning it was so cold, that as well as rain, we had sleet. But by 2.00pm I actually had to apply sun block. The first real day of sun, and the sky was so blue. I am sure I could see plants growing in the heat.
I managed to plant Sweet Pea seedlings, and Aquilegia and Sunflower (Helianthus 'chocolat' and H. 'ebony and gold'). I also popped in a couple of Jasmine, in a warm spot against a South facing wall.
This time of year is so full of promise. As I viewed the plot today, I imagined seeing it crammed full with flowers. Flowers really are my passion. I am living my dream.
